England Hockey guidelines on gum shields

It has been brought to our attention and we have taken the following guidance from England Hockey...

... England Hockey state it is mandatory for all under 18's to wear gum shields during all hockey activities including training, matches and tournaments.

We therefore, request that all under 18's wear gum shields. If you do not wish for your child to wear a gum shield we would require written permission from you excusing your child from wearing a gum shield.

Gum shields can be purchased from your dentist or sports shops and moulded in hot water. If you need any guidance on gum shields we are more than happy to help.
